Our Pharmacist Independent Prescriber Service provides patients with convenient access to expert clinical care for a wide range of minor conditions. All appointments are delivered through a face-to-face consultation, ensuring safe, thorough, and personalised support.

Conditions that can be managed through this service include:

Most common presentations:

• Cough

• Skin infections (e.g. impetigo, cellulitis, paronychia)

• Ear infections (otitis externa, otitis media)

• Acute sinusitis

• Urinary tract infection (lower UTI)

• Sore throat / tonsillitis
  

Ear conditions:

• Otitis externa (superficial infections of the external ear canal)

• Otitis media

• Impacted or excessive earwax (cerumen)
  

Skin conditions:

• Skin infections (e.g. impetigo, cellulitis, paronychia)

• Fungal and candida infections (excluding fungal nail infections)

• Acne & rosacea (topical treatments only)

• Inflammatory skin disorders and psoriasis (topical treatments only)

• Dry skin

• Herpes zoster (shingles)

• Skin reactions (urticaria, hives, bites/stings, etc.)
  

Urinary tract:

• Lower urinary tract infection

• Upper urinary tract infection (pyelonephritis)
  

Upper respiratory tract:

• Acute sinusitis

• Allergic rhinitis

• Sore throat / tonsillitis

• Oral thrush
